About

Welcome to my little corner of the internet — a place for crafts, fiber projects, gardening experiments, and occasional commentary on what happens when you leave Washington state and somehow end up in North Carolina.

After spending years surrounded by evergreens, mountains, and weather that minded its business, life took an unexpected turn and dropped me here in humidity levels previously thought survivable only by amphibians. So naturally, I started another blog.

This space is where I’ll share the projects currently taking over my craft room, my garden beds, and probably my sanity. Expect sewing, fiber arts, plants I may or may not accidentally kill, unfinished ideas, and observations about adjusting to Southern life as someone who spent a few years as a kid in Texas, but too many up north to truly be called a Southerner even thought I know the theory.

I’m not here to pretend everything is perfectly curated or inspirational. Sometimes creativity looks like finishing a project. Sometimes it looks like buying supplies for twelve projects and sitting in the yard questioning your life choices while mosquitoes carry you into the sunset.

Either way, thanks for stopping by. We’ll figure it out as we go.
